Statement
I am moved by my surroundings here in Santa Fe. Whether I'm working on a landscape, abstraction or a figure I am inspired by the energy that is part of being here. I enjoy being driven to create. I feel it comes out in my Encaustic work as well as my mixed media and watercolor.
I also am pleased to be able to share my enjoyment of Encaustic Painting with my students who want to be introduced to the medium. It is exciting to see what they create and how they are inspired. Having the opportunity to give workshops adds to my growth as an artist. Being able to share my love of creating is very fulfilling.
