Teena Robinson
Art has been an important part of my life from early childhood on. My first official art assignment at age 14 was to create window displays for my hometown library. I realized from that early age, that art was a very important part of my being. After attending Parson's School of Design in New York my artistic and graphic design skills flourished while owning a graphic design business for over twenty-five years. 1999 watercolor workshops and painting classes reawakened my drive to interpret people, places and things and opened the door to my current life as a fine artist.
My work has been selected for group shows at the Santa Fe Community Gallery, Johnsons Gallery of Madrid, Santa Fe Community Bank, The Encaustic Art Institute in Cerrillos, Java Joes, Saddleback College in California, Santa Fe Community College and CCA's 8 x 8 Shows.
Meaningful philanthropic efforts inspired me to volunteer my graphic design services for non-profit organizations and donate paintings to a Lexington, KY hospital, fundraisers for Temple Beth El of South Orange County CA and locally through The Esperanza Shelter, Habitat for Humanity and Cornerstones Community Partnership in Santa Fe.
